The Nebbiolo is the king of the Italian varietals and is full of character. There is just a subtle hint of mint on the nose as well as violets and highly expressive red fruits. It is quite a sophisticated wine displaying characters of tar, truffles, dark chocolate and coffee. The palate changes with every sip you take of this wine and tobacco, licorice and leather add to the complexity of this very individual unique style of wine.
